So that you can all get lost in the time-space continuum – as far as our trip is concerned – here is a little musical slide show from Turkey. It is rather far back in time, and in space, but during the vodka drinking session in Irkestam I felt like putting this video together.

We devoted one day to visit two churches east of Jerevan, Garni and Geghard. We didn’t know much about them, but all the maps marked them as great tourist attractions. Read more…

While packing I noticed that one of the spokes in Zita’s rear wheel is broken, we even had to take the  Rohloff gears apart a bit.  This took quite a lot of time, it was well after 10am (with a lot of heat) by the time I finished.

We didn’t ride to Istambul via the quickest, simpliest way (D100), cause we knew it’s a nightmare. We thought it will be a piece of cake getting into the city of 8 million people on recumbents…

We thought we’re gonna publish this small video here as well and not just annoy potential sponsors in e-mail with it.
After all, this website’s been created 4 months before the departure so we could show everyone (including our future sponsors) that this journey could be followed on a serious website that contains plenty of information – and we hope many readers too.
